Hello!

I’m Nishita,

Born and raised in India, I grew up packing boxes more often than most people change their throw pillows. My dad was in the army, which meant we moved every 2–3 years — new cities, new schools, new homes... and a brand-new excuse to start decorating from scratch. You could say my love for design wasn’t just natural — it was inevitable.

While the boxes never stopped coming, I learned early on that home isn’t about permanence — it’s about how a space makes you feel. That feeling became my obsession.

With each move, I learned how to turn unfamiliar spaces into places that felt like “us.” I didn’t go to design school, but I studied every floor plan like it was a final exam. I became the go-to person for creating cozy, functional homes — whether it was rearranging the living room (again) or figuring out how to hang art without leaving 12 holes in the wall (don’t ask, I’ve learned better since).

My design style?

Modern eclectic — which is just a fancy way of saying I love clean lines and quirky thrifted treasures. Think vintage art meets sleek lighting. A streamlined sofa with a side of grandma’s hand-me-down sideboard. I live for a good contrast.

I’m wildly inspired by character-filled vintage pieces, my slightly obsessive collection of seascape paintings, and any room that dares to use color unapologetically. Give me moody blues, warm rusts, or even a punchy pink — I’ll find a way to make it work (and make you love it too).

My design philosophy?

Design shouldn’t be intimidating or “for someday.” It should be fun, functional, and full of personality. I believe in mixing high and low, old and new, and adding just enough weird to keep things interesting. Your home should reflect you, not a catalog or the latest TikTok trend.

If you’re looking to breathe new life into your space without gutting the whole thing, I’m your girl. Let’s make magic out of what you already have (and maybe add a few fabulous things along the way).
